AIM OF COURSE

The aim of this course is to acquaint learners with the internet and in particular the world wide web. A full treatise of the web, search engines and browsers will be given together with an understanding and use of HTML to create a web page. Satisfactory designs will be published on the world wide web. Use of CSS will be introduced and WYSIWYG's and HTML5 will be considered.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Learners will be able to create a web site for dissemination on the world wide web. A better appreciation of design considerations and their impact should also be achieved
